Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bradley Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.Born May 15, 1939 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late William B. Luttrell and the late Wilma Howell Luttrell. On August 7, 1977 she married William Garnell Bates who preceded her in death May 3, 2011. She was a 1957 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mrs. Bates loved camping with her family, her dogs, and arts and crafts. She was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ.Survivors include her son, Keith Allen (Christy) Logue of Primm Springs; daughters, Katherine Faye (Doug) Prince of Louisville, Tennessee and Lisa Gail Gowan of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Carolyn Faye (Bud) Park of Hendersonville; grandchildren, William Prince of Louisville, Meagan Prince and Allen Prince of Louisville; C.J.
